BMX street riders haunt Brooklyn – Red Bull Trick or Treat 2010

On a beautiful but blustery night in Brooklyn, 36 BMX bikers put street into the spotlight at the Red Bull Trick or Treat contest. Eighteen teams of two hit a creative course that featured Halloween-themed obstacles from coffin grid boxes to a tricked- out hearse, and the winning combination proved to be a mash-up between the big contest strength of Scotty Cranmer and street-wise skills of Augie Simoncini.

Red Bull Trick or Treat brought the best BMX riders to Rochester, NY to have it out on Halloween themed obstacles. The building is supposed to be haunted, so keep your eyes out for ghosts – and some sick tricks from riders including Edwin Delarosa, Chase Hawk, Brian Kachinsky, Aaron Ross, Pat Laughlin, Sean Sexton and many others.

World Record BMX Jump teaser #1 – Kevin Robinson

On June 12th 2008 Kevin will attempt to fly higher than any other on a bike.

Hoffman first set the record in 1992 by being towed into a 20ft high ramp and soaring 20ft above that, putting him 40ft above the ground. He has since improved on that record several times and the current mark stands at 26.5ft above a 24ft ramp, 50.5ft above the ground.

Kevin’s Super Quarter Pipe will be 27ft high, meaning he will have to be 27ft above the top of the ramp and soar over 54ft above the ground to break the world record.

Kevin Robinson sets BMX World Record! 27 FEET!

HUGE ramp/quarterpipe for Kevin Robinson’s BMX jump

This is a first look at the ramp that was built specially for KRob’s jump attempt.

On June 12, 2008, he plans to jump 27 feet above the ramp, 54 feet total, to beat the 26’6″ record set by Mat Hoffman in 1992.
