I doubt that the Eagles are going to let him go. Say what you want about the guy, he’s the best they got right now and the Eagles dont want to go into rebuild mode. I think he is back with Philly at least one more season. He also lacks trade value due to his injury prone reputation

The Eagles will be completely stupid to get rid of him. The NFC East is arguably the best division in football, and next season, with McNabb, all 4 teams would compete equally well for first place. If he is gone, they are in the cellar.

I think that when the Eagles take a look, they will see that he gives them the best chance of winning next year, then they will take one more shot. I Think it will take a 1 to get him, and I don’t know that the Bears want to do that. I also question if they want to trade him to a team in their conference.

I have said this before… I think that SD should take a hard look at trying to get McNabb. Rivers is terrible, and that team is a superbowl contender with # 5.

it is a known fact that Donovan is a Chicago Native….yes hes from Chicago…but i don’t think the Bears would be a good fit for him for many reasons. For one the Bears are a Run oriented team.. and besides Mushin Muhammad they have no type of deep ball threat.. then with the decline of their defense they have proved that the cover 2 doesn’t stop well coached offensive teams… Just ask Peyton about that one… Now in order for this dream trade to go through… some big things are gonna have to happen…for one Lovie Has to stop being so Damn conservative…..and air the ball out… and since he wants to pound the ball 30 times to a Running Back that sucks (Cedric Benson dumb move letting Thomas Jones go) Donovan will not be a great fit there…. it would be setting him up for failure sending him to Chicago.. plus even though the fans in Philly are rough they know a healthy McNabb means Superbowl run at any given time…

what are you talking about? Thats all the bears have is deep ball threats. Muhammad isn’t he is a posession reciever, but between berrian, bradely, davis and now hester thats all they can do is go long. secondly, the bears recievers are wya better than philly’s, don’t just say stuff watch a game and then answer the question.

Feeley has a lot of talent (as he demonstrated during the week 12 game versus the Patriots which the Eagles lost by only 3 points, respectable for any team against the high-powered Pats this season) and Kevin Kolb was picked by Philadelphia at 36th overall in the 2007 draft, the third quarterback overall, which implies the Eagles are preparing to make a change at QB.
