McNabb is going to … McNabb is going to make The Eagles pay for this Trade… Plain and Simple. I am an Eagles Fan by the way. Kevin Kolb is unproven and he will lose the starting job to Micheal Vick. Do you think Kolb can complete a 4th and 26 play in Playoff Pressure? No! Can he scramble 14 seconds behind the line of scrimmage and throw a bomb 60 yards in Texas Stadium? No! Can Kolb take The Eagles further than McNabb? No! Case closed.

Guys with more … Guys with more passing yards than McNabb: Bledsoe, Testaverde, Kreig, Collins, Esiason, Everett, DeBerg, and Simms (among others).
Guys with more passing TDs: Testaverde, Krieg, Bledsoe, and Esiason (among others).
McNabb is not an HoFer yet, and anyone that thinks he is, is living in the Land of Make Believe.

@EastCoastDude99
… @EastCoastDude99
what i meant by the patriots not being one of the elite teams was that they were not as good as they normally are. and yeah i knew that the eagles were the only team in the NFC East not make the playoffs til 2007. remember though i watch mostly browns football.

@EastCoastDude99 … @EastCoastDude99 How could u say that Donovan McNabb is not one of the greatest of all times? He is the best QB the Eagles have ever had. Second to only Marino in TD/INT ratio, H.O.F, 5 NFC title visits. That organization failed McNabb for years. when James Thrash and Todd Pinkston are your no.1 and no. 2 for 4yrs its a problem. I honestly hope they dont ever see a title now.

@Curran430, most … @Curran430, most elite team until last year? Eagles were the only team in the NFC East not to make the playoffs in 2007. Watch football much?

@TokyoNiGHTS1, … @TokyoNiGHTS1, again……..heres what you’re not understanding. Elway is “ONE OF THE BEST EVER”, Mcnabb is NOT. So why are you comparing Elways age of winning his superbowl to Mcnabb? You’re obviously a Mcnabb fan, but he’s not John Elway nor did he ever have the accuracy of Elway. This “Elway Mcnabb” comparison makes ZERO sense. Two different QB’s, two different era’s, two different styles. Please, just stop.

@ddbleak
and now … @ddbleak
and now they’re one of the most respected and one of the most elite teams until last year when they went 10-6 i think. you get the point

@ddbleak
im not … @ddbleak
im not sure if seattle has gotten anything in free agency though. but all im saying is that the teams who got good players in trades and free agencies are teams to watch out for. lets look at basketball for a second. back in 2003 when the cavs drafted lebron james the cavs were the worst team in the nba we only won i think either 16 or 15 games and in a short while we became an elite after we were swept by the spurs. also the patriots were not a great team until brady was drafted

@ddbleak
i see. … @ddbleak
i see. you know what’s funny? so many teams are getting new coaching staffs, quarterbacks, etc. i mean the teams that are getting good players in the free agencies and trades are teams that need to be watched closely. for example, remember how the falcons were not a good team in 2007? they turned into an elite team when ryan was drafted. the same could come to teams like: the skins, hopefully the browns (thats my team), and the bears.

@Curran430 while … @Curran430 while Moss may not be a superstar.. he still has some gas left in him.. and thats not our only receiver.. we still have devin thomas, who I think shows a lot of promise, and is yound. Malcom Kelly is also ont he roster, and is decent. We have cooley and davis at TE… I think we will be fine. All new coaching staff… etc etc. Im glad Randle el is gone tbh. He looked like he gave up last year.

@EastCoastDude99 … @EastCoastDude99 Then you need to talk to many of the top NFL analysts because they’d say Marino was one of the best. There’s only so much a QB can do if their team isn’t good enough.
Also you bring up Elway as you did earlier when you took offense to McNabb being compared to him. Do you know how many SB wins he had at McNabb’s age? None. He won his first Super Bowl at age 37, which was his third year with Mike Shanahan. A guy that surrounded him with the proper talent.

Let me just tell … Let me just tell you that Shanahan is no dummy. Watch for 4-6 O lineman to be brought in from other teams and the draft. The O line will be completely revamped by pre-season just as he did in Denver.

@EaglesAlwaysCHOKE … @EaglesAlwaysCHOKE
your talking about a qb (kevin kolb) who played really well last year for mcnabb when he was injured. he only lost to a team who eventually won the super bowl (the saints) also kolb is also an unproven qb who when i watched him looks pretty good.

@lilze96
moss is … @lilze96
moss is a very average wide receiver and randle El is no longer with the red skins. the red skins are possibly gonna use the draft to surround mcnabb with more talent at receiver than cooley

@TokyoNiGHTS1…… … @TokyoNiGHTS1………whoever considers Marino as “one of the best QB’s” seriously needs a reality check. A hall of famer, yes. But “one of the best”? Montana was “one of the best”, Unitas was “one of the best”, Elways was “One of the best”.
