Michael Vick of the Eagles: good or bad idea?
Michael Vick was just signed on as a member of the Philidelphia Eagles. Now I believe the guy deserves another chance, but are the Eagles the right team for him?
It was a horrible idea and proof of poor the poor judgment that the Eagles have. He’s not the right choice for any team. What I don’t understand is how a person can get kicked out of the MLB for betting on games or taking steroids, but this low-life can murder dogs and still be allowed to play football. This seems like a load of hypocrisy to me. I don’t think he deserves another chance, had he not been caught he would still be doing this without remorse. Many people think it was just dog fights (which are terrible) but he electrocuted those dogs, he beat the crap out of them until they died, and he cared nothing about their welfare. A person who has no problem hurting animals has no problem hurting children. Everyone says he pleaded guilty, but he pleaded not-guilty until his "friends" came forward with more information. Animal and child abuse are the lowest crimes that any person can do, had he beat a child he would still be in jail and be unaccepted by the public. But to many he just beat "stupid worthless animals". I just shows that entertainment ranks over morality and justice any day of the week.

Yeah, because if McNabb gets injured, he’s there to protect the Eagles.

Yeah. Established QB in place, veteran head coach, team that wants to win.

Yup. Andy Reid is always looking for ways to go to the super bowl, and Mike Vick, if in football form, is a good help. He’s probably going to be used in the wildcat. But what makes this Wildcat so scary is that Vick can throw.

Yes. The Eagles are a great fit for him because they’re a class A organization. Mcnabb is a great team leader on and off the field. That tandom will work great with the wildcat system. That’s why he passed on the Bengals.

Having him join the team only shows that Americans have no remorse for the torment and killing of dogs, just as long as money is coming in every one turns their heads.
The man is a cold blooded animal murderer, look at his face he has no expression and certainly no remorse!
Hide your beagle cause Vick is an Eagle.
BAD IDEA!!!!!!!! I have lost respect for the Eagles. McNabb is at least respectable.

We don’t want to talk about thug Vick. It’s all about the great Brett Favre!

Yes because vick is a great skill player. He can do the wild cat formation. He can also play as wide reciever or kick returner. He brings alot to the table if he can keep his head straight.
However Jamal Lewis had an incredible 2003 season then went to prison for drug charges and now isnt doing anything for the browns.

Yes, if McNabb is Struggling or Gets Hurt who would you want take snaps, a second or third string QB or a prov en QB in Vick.
I think the Eagles are Going to use Vick more as a distraction because surely it’s going to be difficult for Defensive Coordinators to prepare for McNabb and Vick.
For Example: Having a trick play where Vick, Westbrook are in the Backfield McNabb is taking snaps.
Defensive Coordinates are going to shit themselves.

Beggars can’t be choosey, especially one with Vick’s quarterbacking ability. As for the Wildcat, forget it. You’ll rarely see it run by anybody. It’s nothing more than a gimmick that’s easily adjusted to.
A scout team QB can’t help a team. He certainly won’t beat out McNabb, Kolb, or Feely.

I think it is good for the Eagles. Though I don’t understand how the Vikings wanted Favre over Vick.
