First, you have to acquire a bicycle shipping box. Ask at a local bicycle shop, they receive all their bikes in boxes, and usually have to dispose of the boxes somehow. Try to get a box made for the same type of bike that you want to ship, shipping charges are based on the size of the box. Next, your bike has to be partly disassembled so that it can be put in the box. You will have to pack the bike so that all the parts are protected while the bike is in transit. Then you call a shipping company to find out how much they will charge. The farther you ship the bike the more it will cost. If shipping is international, the cost could be in the hundreds of dollars.
